Multitasking now - watching Terms for a Witch (Takizawa Hideaki is sooo yummy), writing this blog and juggling my attention for a HP article for the local paper. It's going to be so lame and juvenile... I'll tell you more about it if the article gets printed. Aiiy, watching the show and listening to him calling her "Teacher" really irks me! It ruins the show entirely. OK, not entirely, but it truly is disturbing to see one half of a couple calling the other "Teacher". Just like in Return of the Condor Heroes - umm, forgot the guy's name, but you know, the lead guy - he fell in love with his "Gugu!" Eerrrrghhh! It just grates on the ears.... My grandma went down to visit her nieces and nephews whose mother (i.e. my grandma's sister) had just passed away some time ago. When her grand-nieces and nephews saw my grandma, who resembles her sister greatly, they refused to go out and greet her because "Grandma's come back to life! Eeeeeee!!!" Ha ha!

OK, just back from my trip to KL - sinned like mad and spent a bomb. And overate. Again. If there ever was a Charmed episode like the one just telecast, the sin I'm predisposed to is definitely gluttony... The trip was nice, my relatives fantastic and I watched the End of Evangelion, courtesy of my cousin. Disturbing show that is. Oh, and remind me to bring more money next time round - J-dramas subbed in Malay! Sugoiiii! Not to mention I watched a CCS episode dubbed in Malay. Hearing Kero-chan saying "Sedapnya!" (How delicious!) was really funny! But the really stupid thing is that they totally censored the bits where she uses the Clow Cards. Really silly, actually. I mean, why call it Card Captor Sakura if you're not going to show the Cards? Doh! Couldn't update because of massive server downtime from Pitas. Hey, I don't grudge them at all. At least this is free. Most of the work is done on the shared blog I have with my friend - watch out for an announcement tomorrow. *sniff* Next one to move will be this blog...

Watched The Princess Diaries today - hey, it was really entertaining! :> Anyway, my domain is DEFINITELY working - I'm starting work on it already. The blog section anyway. My present plans for the blogs would be There's a high possibility I'll miss some of the dates - I'm not too familiar with Greymatter yet. Anyway, just reading in the papers about how the old-fashioned macho man a la John Wayne is back in style. As Camille Paglia puts it - "dreamily masculine". Well, I've only a few things to say about that. First off, the whole gender-neutrality thing is CRAP. I firmly believe in a certain amount of gender roles. Are men stronger than women? Yes. Are women emotionally more sensitive? Yes. Are women stupider than men? NO! That kind of thing. Anyway, call me old-fashioned or something but the macho, stoic man appeals more to me than the 'cry and sensitive' kinds simply because well, these SNAG wannabes always seem a bit... wussy. But that's my opinion. I'd kill an excessively old-fahioned guy though. No time for those entrenched in the Dark Ages types.

Had a very disappointing opening to the day today - I found out I ranked bottom of a class of 16. That's not something I'm too proud of. I've got brains alright but my grades sure don't reflect any sort of intelligence. I need to rethink my direction and style. It was a definite downer, that's for sure. On a cheerier note, I got 3 CDs today - Kylie's Fever, Britney's Britney (this is sounding much better than her old CDs) and Michael Jackson's Bad. All good CDs. Reviews? Maybe... And meanwhile, the cast of Harry Potter will make a paedophile out of me yet. Check out young Tom Felton. Yummy ain't he? Even my Grandma said so! ^_^

*snigger* My sis is sooo rude. We were watching the news for more election updates. Here's her fashion advice: Anyway, watched Legally Blonde - it was soo cool! I actually found myself rooting for Her Royal Fluffiness... And I watched BSB's Drowning video. Back to basics I see, it's just them posing away again. Howie looked really good though. And my sis just pointed out that even though Nick tends to dramatise things quite a bit, he still doesn't look as stupid as the boys in PlusOne. I kinda thought he was seeking catharsis through the singing, even. I know the poor baby tends to get rather emotional ha ha!
AND, and, (this was a good day for me), I saw the Harry Potter trailer & the one for Lord of the Rings too. Elijah Wood is really ugly but the movie looks really promising. And the HP trailer has me really excited now...

Went for a religious talk that made me feel very ashamed of myself. The theme was on 'Death' and well, needless to say, I'd be classified under those who are not prepared for death in the first place. That's coz I sin too much - gossip too much, am too lazy, can get pretty arrogant... Time to repent. But I always say that. And I'm still this way...

Bought BSB's Chapter 1. *sniffles* The Boys have come a long, long way from when they first started. They started out in Asia and Europe - I still remember the level of 'uncoolness' they had. MTV played their videos only in the middle of the night. If you wanted to catch We've Got It Going On, you had to stay up till past 12 midnight. And DJs would poke fun at them for being such losers since they 'couldn't even make it big in their own country'.
Well, they have made it big in their own country and more. Even went through their own share of trials and tribulations. I'd say as a group, they're a bit at a crossroads now - do they go on as they were or adopt a stylistic change?
As a fan, I think they're singing way too many ballads for their own good. I mean, I LOVE their ballads, their vocal arrangement and talent surpasses that of NSync anytime, anyday. Yet, NSync seems to have found a particular style that attracts attention and wins them more fans by the day. BSB seems to be taking a too laidback attitude towards things these days.
On the other hand, I'll continue supporting them till the inevitable happens. When that day comes, I'll be needing counselling. Definitely. It's hard to forget a band that used to be your source of entertainment from junior college and for the most of college...

OK, I think I overfed myself yet AGAIN. Went out for a nice seafood dinner with my cousin and sisters. It was a fun ladies' outing, something to soothe the stinging ache of having fouled up yet another assessment.
Polling Day tomorrow. Ooo... Wonder how it'll feel like to step into the polling booth, make that black 'X' and *snigger snigger snigger* decide the fate of your nation... Ha ha!
Meanwhile, I plod on with life. Oh, to my absolute horror, my cousin spotted a single WHITE hair on my head just now. NOOOO! I'm too young for white hair. The offending strand is gone of course. You know what this means? I'm stressed. I need a holiday. A self-declared one if necessary. White hair indeed. Hmph!
